 About Hope Church

We are a lively, family church with a relaxed, informal and contemporary style. Our Sunday meetings attract all ages and we aim to be Bible-based, Jesus-centred and Holy Spirit led. We are trying to be more 'missional' in our approach to life in order to reach the people of Bangor with the truth, life and hope of the Christian gospel.

Hope Church was planted from Caernarfon Pentecostal Church in September 2003, and we are part of the Salt & Light family of churches.

We meet regularly on Sundays at 10.30 am in Ysgol Friars School, Bangor and throughout the week in Connect Groups. You would be very welcome to join us!

Hopefully this website will give you a flavour of what we are like and what is important to us. If you would like to know more, emailemail for details.

Do come along and join us! line

   Students
Students are seen as an integral part of the church and we encourage them to share in the life of the church. During term time approximately half of the people present on a Sunday will be students. Many students play an active role in the ministry of the church. Please speak to us about how you'd like to get involved.

Keep an eye on this website for special activities to welcome students or come along one Sunday.
 Student Alpha
who is jesus
In October 2012 we will be running an Alpha course for students. It's is a great opportunity for anyone to explore the meaning of life in an informal (and food-based!) environment. Eveyone's opinions matter and everyone is free to say exactly what they think.

Alpha is for people who are not Christians, or are not sure about their faith, but if you are part of the church and would like to invite some friends, that would be great!
