What happens on a Sunday?

Our Sunday morning meeting starts at 10.30am. After an initial song, the service leader welcomes us all and then we have a time of worship which usually lasts about 30-45 minutes.
What is the worship like?
We worship with a mixture of contemporary songs and classic hymns where appropriate.  We have a number of worship leaders and band members, which helps the worship time to be fresh and inspiring each week.  We encourage everyone to participate in worship however they feel appropriate and some of us may contribute words of encouragement, prophecy, scripture readings or prayers during this time.

During our worship each week we share communion.  This is when we remember the events of the 'Last Supper' when Jesus gave the bread and wine to his disciples saying that they represented His body and His blood.

The bread and wine are passed round the congregation for everyone to participate, but if you don't understand what communion is about, you can simply let them pass by you.  During this time the band play more meditative worship songs and there is an opportunity to receive prayer for any needs you may have.
Notices and FrogSquad
After the worship we have our notices and the children go out to FrogSquad and Creche.  The children can stay in the service but we find they have more fun and learn more in their own groups.
Talk
After the children have left for their groups we have our teaching which is based on a passage of scripture from the Bible.  The talk usually lasts about 30 minutes.  For more details about the kind of subjects we learn about, go to services.
Coffee and Tea
After the talk we may have a further song and then members of the church bring around coffee, tea and biscuits. This gives us all a chance to chat and catch up with friends.
