Prayer is an important part of our worship at Hope Church. We believe
that God cares for each one of us and wants us to talk to him and hear
from him.
We
are increasingly trying to make prayer part of our DNA as a community,
so there
are regular opportunities to pray together, both on Sunday mornings and
at our
monthly Prayer & Praise evenings.We
also try to encourage each other to pray ‘at all times and in all
places’ so do
get involved and find out how you can make a difference through prayer.

What we did at the last Prayer &
Praise
Praise Steve led us in some worship so we could praise God and
focus on Him.
Haiti We spent time praying about the devastation caused by
the recent earthquake in Haiti.
Non-Christian friends We split into small groups and prayed for non-christian
friends; for both those we have lost contact with and those we still
see regularly.
Churches in Bangor As this week is Week of Prayer for Christian Unity we
spent time looking at and praying for the churches of Bangor and the
works they do.
